This privacy policy, as amended from time to time ("Privacy Policy") sets forth the personal and other MicroSolved, Inc. information ("Information") that MicroSolved may collect from visitors to the Site, and how we may use and disclose that Information. This privacy policy covers the sites microsolved.com and stateofsecurity.com. It covers only information that is collected through this Site, and does not cover information that may be collected through software downloaded from this Site. Note Regarding the Use of This Site by Children: The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and we request that such individuals do not provide Personal Information through the Site.

Information We Collect

Personal Information. MicroSolved may collect Personal Information that you provide voluntarily when using or interacting with the Site, for example, when you provide us with Personal Information to register on the Site, when you use the "Contact Us" or "Tell Me More" functions to contact us via e-mail, when you submit resume information, when you participate in any online surveys, and/or when you submit a "Product & Services Inquiry Form," "Collateral Request" or other on-line documents.

The Personal Information typically requested, includes, but is not limited to, your name, company name, physical address, e-mail address, telephone number, and fax number, as well as Information regarding certain software packages and Internet service provider used by you or your organization. If you choose to make an online purchase or enter into other transactions with MicroSolved, we may collect payment information relating to such purchase or transaction, such as your credit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address (collectively "Payment Information"). Your submission of Information in an on-line document or email constitutes your consent to the use of such Information as described in the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of submission. You may refuse to provide certain Information; however the failure to provide requested Information may result in your inability to use certain features of this Site.

Additionally, MicroSolved affiliates ("Affiliates") or unaffiliated third parties (such as our MicroSolved partners, "Partners") may provide MicroSolved with Personal Information about you that was not collected on the Site, and we may add such data to your user profile. Please note that MicroSolved does not control the acts of visitors to the Site. You should be aware that Personal Information you disclose in an online support user forum on the Site may become public and accessible by others; as such it is important for you to exercise discretion and appropriate caution when deciding to reveal Personal Information in these areas of the Site. There may be opportunities on the Site to refer a co-worker to MicroSolved. If you take this action, we will ask that you provide their name and business e-mail address. Further, we will automatically send your co-worker a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Site. MicroSolved stores this information to track the success of the referral system. Your co-worker may contact us at info@microsolved.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

Other Information. When visitors come to the Site, we collect and aggregate information indicating among other things which pages of the web site were visited, the order in which they were visited and which hyperlinks were "clicked" (collectively, "Non-Personal Information") Collecting such Non-Personal Information involves the logging of the IP addresses, operating system and browser software used by each Site visitor. Although such information is not personally identifiable on its own, we can determine from an IP address information such as a visitor's Internet service provider and the geographic location of their point of connectivity, and we may match such Non-Personal Information to your Personal Information. When we match such Non-Personal Information to your Personal Information, the component of the matched information that consists of your Personal Information will continue to be governed in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy concerning our use of your Personal Information.

How We Use and Share Personal Information

Please note that we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third party web sites, and we do not control the practices of any of our Partners to whom this Site is linked. We cannot and do not assume responsibility for any actions or omissions of third parties, including the manner in which they use information received from MicroSolved or independently.
